A couple days ago, David Arquette was spotted with friends and family in what is being touted as the celebration of being sober for one full year.

Last year, he had to take refuge of rehab center to put a check on his incessant alcohol addiction. And quite surprisingly since that New Year’s Eve mess, the star managed to keep himself clean.

The sobriety party also saw Patricia and Rosanna, his sisters, as well as wife Courteney Cox with little Coco.

I guess it was some respite for the star after watching his dear Coco along with her mother. David parted ways with Courtney after his acts of infidelity stormed entertainment world, last year. His rowdy drunkard avatar is also said to have contributed to the cause.

Anyway, coming to his recent celebration of sobriety, I would like appreciate the fact that the star hadn’t forgotten to mention about his stint in Dancing With the Stars.

He went to say that the reality show gave him a platform to hold himself up before the world. He also got to learn some cheeky moves.

She says that she was always amazed to see them, when they returned after a hiatus, since they went through growth spurts, which made them look completely different.

She reveals that she has been particularly attached to Sofia Vassilieva, who plays Ariel on the show.

Sofia started as a young girl on the show, and grew up under public scrutiny, maturing to a young woman by the end.

Patricia says that her relationship with Sofia kept changing, as she grew up, and she loved teaching her about the nuances of acting.

What Patricia loved most about being part of a cast that had so many children was that they were not like professional actors. Rather, they had a very real and raw side to them, which made the sets fun-filled and fascinating.

While most other senior actors would get frustrated with a bunch of kids out of control on a set, Patricia says that she loves their originality and the way they would say just what was on their mind, irrespective of who was listening, or what anyone would think.

If they were bored, they would just say it that they were, and would ask silly questions like why they have to keep doing the same thing over and over again.

The actress commends Gordon Caron for having done such a great job at casting, saying that he looked for children who were really children, as opposed to the over-trained child actors in Hollywood, who hardly have a speck of innocence.

With the holidays just around the corner, what could be a better present for former Medium actor, David Cubitt, than watching one of his TV films, hitting the screens, at the same time?

The movie, with a rather terrifying storyline about the fate of a mountain town being decided by a mysterious Christmas gift, will feature some other top stars like Michael Hogan of Battlestar Galactica fame and Magda Apanowicz from Caprica, along with David.

The SyFy network will dish out the tale of a tiny snow globe, bringing trouble for the Miller family.

What makes the film special is the treatment of the subject matter, which is draped in the cloak of supernatural events, in its simplest form.

David Cubitt came into the limelight with his regular appearances, in the shoes of Allison DuBois associate, on Medium.

But I really feel that it’s high time that he should shed his old tag and show his followers what he can do with new and thrilling projects.

I am not undermining his contributions to the suspense-laden show about the gifted Allison DuBois. I mean, the fact that we still watch Medium online or even go for its download speaks for its popularity.

What I am trying to bring to the forefront is the career prospect of the star in the television industry.

Apart from Medium, there hasn’t been any major project in his hands, if we take into account the last few years.

That means, the premiere date for his new project holds a lot of importance, especially towards re-defining his career.

I just wish that his performance in Snowmaggedon manages to attract the attention of top-notch TV show makers. It would certainly allow us to watch more of the promising star.
